This is how Hulhule made my Family trip to The Maldives the MOST memorable one

 Hulhule Island Hotel is a luxurious and fun-filled hotel located near the Male International Airport. I got to know about this hotel through an online advertisement and thought it was a really nice place to go on vacation. We later checked the hotel out online and loved the facilities and ambiance. We booked a 2 day stay at Hulhule Island Hotel for my family of 4. These were some of our favorite things about the hotel which made the entire stay memorable:

Most comfortable rooms

For our 2-day stay, we had booked the ‘Super Deluxe room with Jacuzzi’ for our family of 4 which consisted of myself, my husband, and my two kids one 12 years old and the other 11 years old. Our room was very sophisticated and comfortable with a beautiful view of the Indian ocean from our balcony. My kids loved the jacuzzi and really enjoyed bathing there. The room had all the basic amenities and more. We got an extra bed for our kids and the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. They fulfilled all our requirements politely. 

Best food we’ve had in a long time

Hulhule Island Hotel had several dining facilities like the themed food promotions near the pool, Sunset Deck, Poolside open-air restaurant, The Champs Deck, The Champs Bar, Faru Coffee House, and Uduvilla. We’ve checked most of these places out but our personal favorites were the Sunset Deck and Uduvilla. Watching the evening sunset into the Indian ocean while sipping onto our cocktails sided with our likable snacks sounds so beautiful just while saying it. Imagine how amazing it would’ve been to actually experience it. The Sunset Deck really brought our aesthetic selves out.


 We then shifted to the Uduvilla which was a really fancy restaurant offering an extensive menu comprising of local and western delicacies. It really gave us the fine dining experience with their delicious food and compassionate services. Added to this our kids had a great time at the pool while I and my husband were chilling at the poolside restaurant.

Super-fun recreational activities

The hotel had a lot of fun-filled activities to offer us. This included land games like beach volleyball, badminton, golf, tennis, and basketball. The hotel had proper equipment and court facilities for all these games. My husband managed to keep up with his daily workout, thanks to their awesome gym.


Apart from games, the hotel also offers diving sessions, has water sports, fishing trips, photo flights, and island excursions on request. We asked for water sports and island excursions. The water sports were one of the most enjoyable parts of the whole trip. In our island excursion trip, we were brought to local tourist places of the island like the national museum and beach.


My kids had most of their fun at the beach while indulging in water sports and while taking a dip at the hotel’s pool. The beach was also very clean and safe for kids. They can enter the water under their parent’s supervision and entertain themselves. My husband is a great fan of the pool game. He enjoyed himself and even made friends with the other tourists at the pool table available at Champs bar.


Overall, we had a really memorable experience at Hulhule Island Hotel. We checked out most of their facilities and services. We are really glad we decided to stay at this hotel. The hotel also has a spa that offers massages and skin treatments. We didn’t have enough time to check it out but heard it their sessions were really relaxing from the other tourists. I highly recommend Hulhule Island Hotel for anyone who is planning on visiting The Maldives. Happy Travelling!
